Artist Bio
Annie Schank is a nationally recognized glass artist.  Her work has been featured in many juried art competitions throughout the United States and is displayed for sale in galleries, museums and stores.

Annie was born in Quebec Canada, and has a long line of artists on both sides of her family.  Her family moved to Florida when she was very young in pursuit of better weather.  In school, Annie was the "go to gal" for all things artistic, and won many art contests.  After graduating university, she moved to Texas for 7 years, were she taught Elementary school.   In search of a better paying position, Annie began working in sales and marketing, and spent the next few years in the San Francisco Bay Area, then finally settling back in Florida. In Florida she ran her own Internet design company and then a position as Business Development Manager of Virtual Sales for Columbia University Arts and Sciences in NYC, marketing their new on-line college courses in Europe and Asia.  Her marriage to her husband Roger in 2002, allowed her to retire from the business world and pursue her dream of being a full time artist.  Choosing glass as a medium, she began producing stained glass, followed later by fused glass, kiln cast glass sculpture, and most recently, mosaics in her studio located in Stuart Florida.   Although primarily self-taught, Annie has studied and worked with some of the world's foremost glass artists.
Annie is available for private instruction in mosaic, kiln cast sculpture, and fusing and occasionally offers courses at McMow Art Glass in Lake Worth Florida.
